The School of Theology and Religious Studies of The Catholic University of America seeks to fill a tenure-track position in Liturgical Studies and Sacramental Theology with a focus on Sacramental Theology or Ritual Studies, to begin in Fall 2022.

Applicants should have a doctorate with a specialization in Liturgical Theology, Sacramental Theology, or Ritual Studies and the ability to work with sources in their original languages. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in the undergraduate, graduate, and seminary programs, advise students, direct master and licentiate theses, doctoral dissertations, show evidence of the capacity to develop a strong original research agenda, and serve on committees of the school and University. Rank and salary will be determined on the basis of academic credentials and publication record.
